What it means
The road gets narrower from the right-hand side, which squeezes oncoming traffic toward your lane.
What to do
The right side of the road closes in. Slow down, keep left, and give way to oncoming traffic if you need to.
How to read warning signs
Warning signs are red-bordered triangles pointing up. They don't order you to do anything: they tell you what's coming so you can slow down and get ready.
More warning signs
- Road narrows from left
- River bank or quayside
- Uneven road surface ahead
- Severe bump ahead
- Severe dip ahead
- River bend crossing (drift) ahead
