What it means
The road gets narrower from the left-hand side, so it's your side of the road that runs out first.
What to do
The left side of the road closes in. Slow down, keep right, and look out for pedestrians or obstacles on the left.
How to read warning signs
Warning signs are red-bordered triangles pointing up. They don't order you to do anything: they tell you what's coming so you can slow down and get ready.
More warning signs
- River bank or quayside
- Uneven road surface ahead
- Severe bump ahead
- Severe dip ahead
- River bend crossing (drift) ahead
- Slippery road
