What it means
A sharp rise across the road. A bump like this can throw a vehicle around and shift a load if it's taken at speed.
What to do
Slow down well before you reach the bump. Hitting it fast can damage your vehicle and make you lose control.
How to read warning signs
Warning signs are red-bordered triangles pointing up. They don't order you to do anything: they tell you what's coming so you can slow down and get ready.
More warning signs
- Severe dip ahead
- River bend crossing (drift) ahead
- Slippery road
- Loose surface road
- Danger of falling and fallen rocks ahead
- Pedestrian crossing
