What it means
Wild animals may be on or near the road, most often around parks and reserves. They're especially hard to see at dawn, dusk and at night.
What to do
Slow down and check the road edges for animals. Aggressive hooting can panic them into your path, so avoid it.
How to read warning signs
Warning signs are red-bordered triangles pointing up. They don't order you to do anything: they tell you what's coming so you can slow down and get ready.
