What it means
Children may cross here, usually near a school or playground. They're small, hard to see between parked vehicles, and may run out without looking.
What to do
Slow right down and stay extra alert. Children can step out without warning, so be ready to stop at any moment.
How to read warning signs
Warning signs are red-bordered triangles pointing up. They don't order you to do anything: they tell you what's coming so you can slow down and get ready.
