Kenyan prohibitory sign · P.16
No entry for vehicles exceeding weight shown
What it means
The figure is a weight limit, often because a bridge or weak stretch of road lies ahead. If you aren't sure what your vehicle weighs, check before you go on.
What to do
If your vehicle is heavier than the weight shown, you may not go on. You'll often see this near bridges with load limits.
How to read prohibitory signs
Prohibitory signs are mostly circles with a red ring, and they tell you what you must not do or set a limit you must keep. They're the opposite of the blue circles, which tell you what you must do.
