Kenyan prohibitory sign · P.17
No entry for vehicles exceeding weight shown on one axle
What it means
This limits the load on a single axle, so a vehicle within its total weight limit can still break this one.
What to do
If any one axle carries more than the weight shown, don't go on. Overloading can damage roads and bridges.
How to read prohibitory signs
Prohibitory signs are mostly circles with a red ring, and they tell you what you must not do or set a limit you must keep. They're the opposite of the blue circles, which tell you what you must do.
