What it means
A triangle standing on its point, the opposite way up from a warning sign. It means the road you're on is the minor one at this junction.
What to do
Slow down and let traffic on the major road go first. If the road is clear you don't have to stop, but you must always give others priority.
How to read priority signs
Priority signs tell you who goes first at a junction. Their shapes are unique, a red octagon for STOP and a triangle standing on its point for GIVE WAY, so you can recognise them at a glance.
